Provider Relations

Tejas provider relations is administered through the Tejas Ombudsman. The Ombudsman serves as a liaison between providers and the Management Services Organization (MSO), working in the following capacities to ensure quality:

  • To mediate conflicts;
  • To foster a positive working relationship between Tejas providers and the MSO; and
  • To facilitate communication and information between Tejas providers and the MSO.

Provider Appeals

The Tejas appeals process provides a mechanism for providers to appeal adverse determinations.

Provider Complaints

The provider complaint process gives providers an opportunity to express dissatisfaction with Tejas services or staff.
